Leave it in the pot for a few hours. Then when I want to eat it, I stir the congee, of which at this point the rice granules will disintegrate into a fine texture, and bring it back to boil on high heat until it reaches the texture or viscosity prefered. Do not use low heat for this stage if not the congee with not be gooey. Only season when congee has come to a full boil.
I always do the first part of cooking just before I sleep to have nice smooth porridge in the morning.WendyinKK https://www.blogger.com/profile/08266961453200555850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8708068554052819005.post-72128559355814738682010-02-18T09:09:08.889+08:002010-02-18T09:09:08.889+08:00The porridge looks nice and smooth...u are good at...The porridge looks nice and smooth...u are good at clearing the fridge.

I like this!Irene's Footprintshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03334329019873592652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8708068554052819005.post-23107965040417804612010-02-18T03:34:27.419+08:002010-02-18T03:34:27.419+08:00That doesn't look like leftover...if it's,...That doesn't look like leftover...if it's, then please give me leftover everyday!Angie's Recipeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14978978261098754954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8708068554052819005.post-52794180484559909132010-02-17T21:30:46.149+08:002010-02-17T21:30:46.149+08:00Especially presented that way~
